I V Sasi to remake ÂTrishna'

Veteran director I V Sasi, who is not among his good times with his recent flicks, will remake his hit of the eighties 'Trishna'. The movie which had Mammootty as the hero was one of the very first hits of the star. M T Vasudevan Nair who scripted the original will once again lend some time to rework the script to suit the modern times.
M T had recently made one such attempt with his ÂNeelathamara which managed to make the cash box ringing even in its second appearance.
But the real story of the remake will only be complete until we mention the name of the new hero in the remake of ÂTrishnaÂ. Yes, it is none other than the young superstar Prithviraj who will get his first opportunity to be in a movie scripted by MT and directed by I V Sasi. The two super hit songs of ÂTrishna ÂSruthiyil Ninnuyarum... and ÂMainakam Â, will be remixed and reused in the new version too.
It is not yet clear whether the crew will continue the same title for the remake version.
